Link-a-licious Art Blog

It turns out, the Henry Art Museum has a blog. Not only is there a blog, but there are links, links galore. It looks like someone behind the scenes is starting to get a kick out of the blogosphere.

So, I might be completely incompetent, but I can’t seem to find a link, on their blog, to the actual museum website. Is it possible? There is even a category for “Other Museums,” but where is www.henryart.org ? Interesting tactic. Perhaps they are intentionally playing down their own presence for the glory of art.

Well, I can help them out a little bit here. Check out their exhibits. And did you know that they did meditation sessions in James Turrell’s Skyspace?

Anyway, if it’s a purposeful omission in the name of ego subversion, wonderful. If I just can’t find the link, then perhaps I need more sleep. Either way, I have a feeling about HankBlog. Somebody there is a true blogger, even if they don’t know it yet.

The link TO the blog is on the exhibitions and programs pages, and funny - I think I just thought that if one made it to Hankblog, Henryart.org was a given. My mistake. But thanks for the tip (and for the shout out!) I’m adding a link to our site, toot sweet. My ego was so subverted I forgot about it.
