Close to one third of Seattle students don’t finish high school. Communities In Schools of Seattle is working to reverse this trend by connecting kids at-risk of dropping out with programs and services that aren’t always available through the school system. That can mean providing academic support like tutoring or resolving complex issues like helping a child’s family find a home. CIS fills these gaps so that students can succeed in school.
