Take some time to browse the visual work of one of Rivet’s contributors, artist Tory Franklin. She has recently redesigned her wesbite for ease of image-browsing. Make sure to get a good look at all the wonderful patterns and colors. You may have seen her work at McCaw Hall for the Seattle Opera House, or perhaps in New York City at the CAA MFA exhibition.

And a local culture factoid: Franklin is also the founder of the SS Marie Antoinette, the collective art studio, press, and arts and music venue on Westlake.
