Eat Books, Be Happy!
Posted by Ali MarcusAs we know here in Seattle, April brings some sunshine along with showers, so we should not be surprised when April Fools’ Day brings more than silly pranks. 826 Seattle will be again hosting the Edible Book Festival, an afternoon of witty wordplay, literary mania, and of course, food.
What is an edible book? Anything that resembles a book, made out of food. The combinations of smart titles and delicious food tend to be the favorites, and humor goes a long way. For $5 it’s certainly worth an hour or two of milling around, gabbing with your friends, and learning about all the great things that 826 Seattle does.
Show up in the 2:00 hour to browse, show up in the 3:00 hour to eat. A little bit of both would be optimal. Check it out this Sunday…this is no joke.
