The Seattle Cheese Festival returns to Pike Place Market this weekend, which is something to be incredibly excited about. It’s basically a wonderland of the smelly, the creamy, the sharp, the musty, the crumbly, the sliced, the spread, the mouth-watering heavenly goodness that cheese brings into our lives. There is also an impressive array of crostinis, crackers, and gourmet goodies with which to scoop, spread, or eat plain.

Show up at 10AM on Saturday to see something called the Rolling of the Truckles…it has to do with racing large hunks of cheese. Check the schedule for full listings of workshops and demonstrations.

If it turns out to be anywhere near as popular as last year, I advise you to show up early and avoid the massive crowds. And people, don’t be greedy.
