Intern
RIVET is looking for a smart, motivated intern to assist with general magazine operations, including production, distribution, marketing and outreach to contributors. This intern will work closely with RIVET’s senior staff to perform a wide range of duties over the course of the magazine’s production cycle. It will require a commitment of roughly five hours per week, including attendance at weekly staff meetings on Tuesday evenings. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills and a flair for organization. HTML skills are a plus. This position is unpaid but college credit is available for students. Bloggers
RIVET is looking for talented writers to blog about music, movies, books and more on rivetmagazine.org, which gets nearly 10,000 hits every week. Bloggers will each be responsible for one 150-word post per week. RIVET’s bloggers are currently unpaid, but they get loads of free books and CDs. College credit is also available for students.
