One would be hard-pressed to find a reason NOT to go to Victoria Haven’s newest show opening at Howard House this Thursday, June 21. I have a good excuse because I will be on a plane to the east coast. The rest of you will need to go see what this talented lady has been doing since last appearing in the Tacoma Biennial. Haven was by far one of the strongest showings at the Biennial. If anything her work actually suffered from being crammed tightly into a mass of work by other (less interesting) artists.

Iampayingattention at Howard House will surely provide her new work the necessary space to breath, plus you won’t need to drive all the way to Tacoma to check it out.

Comb through your stash of RIVET archives to find her work in our FAKE issue or for immediate gratification you can visit www.vichaven.com/html.

Iampayingattention opens at the Howard House on June 21 from 6-8 PM.
